# Tips for sandbox testing

## Phone number

Imprint indexes existing payment method applications based on the customer's phone number. For example, if you submit a credit card application using `(111)-111-1111` and exit right before accepting the credit offer - any subsequent credit card application attempt using that phone number will automatically resume at the credit offer stage. If you would like to complete a brand-new application, you will need to enter a phone number that doesn't have any active applications. It's easy to tell when there's an active application as Imprint will immediately recognize the phone number (e.g., `"Looks like you already have an account with Imprint!"`).

## One-time password

Imprint **does not** send SMS or emails in sandbox. Whenever prompted for a one-time password, please enter `888888`. No other values will be accepted!

## Simulating application outcomes

In sandbox, you may specify certain customer Last Names **(case-sensitive!)** to simulate different application outcomes:

| `approve`       | APPROVED              |
| `review`        | ACTION\_REQUIRED      |
| `frozen`        | ACTION\_REQUIRED      |
| *Anything else* | REJECTED              |
